Hello fellow deviantarts!

I really have a bad habit of not updating but I guess here its sort of a good thing. Cause one I really dont have much to say and two it doesnt spam your inbox

Anyway in my last journal I was all upset because the spring semester for college started and it sucked me dry finacially and I was unable to get my tablet by my birthday.
So my birthday came and went and after selling some stuff and receiving a donation from my uncle, I finally had enough to get my tablet. However, just I went to the site on where i was going to buy it (an Intuos3) turns out that the market updated from Intuos3 to Intuos4. and completely out of my budget. Freaking out I went to search for other places in where i could buy my tablet for the price i was looking for, unfortunaly because the site I had planned to buy from was directed towards students and came with a huge discount for students, i was unable to find any Intuos3 tablets.
But on the bright side I found an Intuos4 tablet (from the same site) with a price range that i figrued couldnt be too hard to achieve (it was only a $100 more )
So with a new goal in mind i set out to keep on saving and get that tablet!
So then couple days later I'm sitting at dinner with my famliy and somehow one way or another my goal of saving up for my tablet came up in convo. And so i told my parents what i was doing to order to get to that goal and I guess it surprised them and shortly after dinner my dad calls me upstairs and asks what the website is in where i was going to buy my tablet....im confused and ask him on why he wants to know? He responds with "Well I'm going to buy it for you."
I just stare at him. Is he serious?
Yep he was serious, and his main reason for doing so was so I could keep saving up my money to buy the other things I might need (like the programs for said tablet)
So in the end my dad got me my tablet which I take with extremely good care.

Well I got my tablet and now i had to get used to it, I didnt want to get Photoshop right way so I settled for the trial version just to get me started. After the trial month came and went I was ready for the program. Excited to buy it, I once again logged on the student store and click the link to buy PScs4 and in all my eagerness I forgot to look at which version of the program i bought.
Well after I bought it I was at college when i received the conformation email that says what I bought, and there is where I realize my HUGE MISTAKE.

I had bought the Photoshop CS4 for MAC.

And I have Windows...

PROBLEM!!



Sighs....in one click i had managed to relinquish all my funds for something i didnt need and I had no way of returning.

(but its gone now! )

So depressed with loss of funds and no more trial PS i went and decided to install trial Opencavas on my computer...and the link to download was broken. D= no Opencanvas for me!

But then I started to hear about this other program that was really good, Paintool Sai.

PaintTool SAI = Love

I actually perfer it over PS!! And its not at all that expensive! So as soon as I save a bit more from selling college textbooks I get the program and problem sloved! (though i do plan to get PScs4 eventually but now the wait is sustainable)

Hm....that was a long update...but anyway unto my next topic.... iScribble!
As usual I heard about this site from browsing art in DA so curiousity kicked in and I went to look for it, and at first glance it reminded me of Tegaki E but as I tried it out it felt TOTALLY different...its probaly cause of the layer system and the chat. And I love it!
